What to Expect
Day 1: Early morning departure from Nairobi with a stop to admire the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Arrive in the Mara for an afternoon game drive.
Days 2 & 3: Full days of unlimited game drives across the park’s diverse landscapes. Spot Africa’s iconic wildlife, visit the Mara River, and observe crocodiles, hippos, and (if in season) the thrilling crossings of the Great Migration.
Day 4: Early morning game drive followed by breakfast and a relaxed drive back to Nairobi, with a lunch stop en route.

Safari Begins!
Your adventure kicks off with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or the airport by your dedicated driver/guide in a custom-built 4x4 Safari Jeep.
You’ll begin the scenic drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Along the way, soak in the changing landscapes as we traverse the lush Kenyan highlands and descend into the expansive Great Rift Valley.
We’ll make a brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to stretch and enjoy sweeping views of this dramatic escarpment — an excellent opportunity for photos and local insights.
As the journey continues, pass through traditional Masai homesteads and community lands, catching glimpses of herders in vibrant shukas tending to their livestock.

Arrival in the Mara
Arrive at the Masai Mara in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp, followed by a short rest.
In the late afternoon, we’ll embark on your first game drive, giving you the chance to start spotting the Mara’s renowned wildlife, from herds of elephants and giraffes to big cats such as lions and cheetahs.

Overnight Stay
Spend your first night at a carefully selected lodge or tented camp within the reserve.

Day 02 :

Full Day Game Viewing in Masai Mara

Today promises a full immersion into the spectacular wildlife and landscapes of the Masai Mara National Reserve — one of the richest ecosystems in the natural world.
Known for hosting the highest and most diverse concentration of wild animals in the region, the Mara offers a truly unforgettable safari experience.
You’ll spend the day exploring the iconic tree-studded savannah plains, enjoying the moderate climate and unparalleled opportunities to see a vast array of wildlife. From the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — to countless other species, your game drives will be full of thrilling encounters.
A highlight will be a visit to the Mara River, where you may observe pods of hippos wallowing and stealthy crocodiles lurking beneath the surface. During the Great Migration season (July to October), witness thousands of wildebeest and zebra crossing the river in one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles.

Day 03 :

Full Day in Masai Mara

Another exciting day awaits, filled with thrilling wildlife viewing across the Masai Mara’s expansive plains.
You have the flexibility to enjoy full-day game drives or split your time between morning and afternoon drives, allowing for some leisure moments to relax and savor the comforts of your lodge or camp.
Your experienced driver/guide will be on hand to tailor your day according to your preferences, ensuring every moment is memorable.
For an extraordinary experience, consider an early morning hot air balloon safari (available at an additional cost). Drift gently above the Mara, watching the wildlife and landscape unfold beneath you — a breathtaking way to witness the timeless beauty of the reserve.

Day 04 :

Masai Mara – Nairobi (Approx. 265 km / 5 hours)
Meal Plan: Breakfast

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge or camp, your dedicated driver/guide will assist with the checkout before embarking on the scenic journey back to Nairobi, Kenya’s vibrant capital city.
Along the way, your guide will point out the majestic Longonot extinct volcano, a striking stratovolcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. Its name comes from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges.” The volcano last erupted in the 1860s, adding to the region’s dramatic landscape.
You may choose to detour via Lake Naivasha for a lunch stop or optional excursions at an additional cost. Alternatively, you can drive straight to Nairobi, stopping at Kiambethu Farm for a delightful tea farm tour paired with a three-course buffet lunch (also at extra cost). Otherwise, continue directly to Nairobi for your transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your hotel/residence.
Expect to arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon, around 4:30 pm, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or airport.
