Upon arrival, you’ll discover that Lewa is no ordinary destination. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this pioneering non-profit conservancy is famed for its strong focus on wildlife conservation—especially its thriving populations of black and white rhinos. In fact, Lewa is home to the world’s largest single population of endangered Grevy’s zebra, with more than 350 individuals.
Once a cattle ranch, Lewa has transformed into one of Kenya’s most prestigious wildlife sanctuaries, offering a unique blend of savannahs, forests, and rolling hills with the majestic snow-capped peak of Mt. Kenya as your dramatic backdrop.

Day 01 :

Daily Itinerary

Nairobi – Lewa Conservancy
Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

Your dedicated safari driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or directly from the airport and transfer you to Wilson Airport for your scheduled morning flight to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.

The scenic flight takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, offering aerial views of Kenya’s varied landscapes en route to one of the country’s premier conservation areas.

Upon arrival at the Lewa airstrip, you’ll be warmly received by your safari guide/driver, who will escort you to your camp or lodge. Enjoy your first taste of the conservancy’s rich wildlife along the way, with the exciting possibility of spotting rhinos even before check-in.

After settling in and enjoying lunch, you’ll head out for a late afternoon game drive—or choose from other activities offered at your camp.

Most safari lodges and camps in Lewa operate open-sided 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeeps, providing an immersive and almost private game viewing experience across the conservancy’s stunning landscapes.

Day 02 :

You’ll set out just before sunrise for a game drive, soaking in the rich diversity of wildlife and the expansive savannah landscapes.

Lewa offers exceptional wildlife viewing, with sightings of black rhinos, buffalo, the rare Grevy’s zebra, and resident predators — all framed by the stunning backdrop of snow-capped Mt. Kenya.

Between your morning and afternoon game drives, take time to unwind and enjoy the serene atmosphere of your luxury tented camp.

Overnight at your selected safari lodge or luxury tented camp within the Lewa Conservancy, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 03 :

Savor your final early morning game drive, taking in the peaceful sights and sounds of the conservancy one last time before breakfast at your lodge or camp.

Afterward, you'll transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, where our team will be waiting to greet you and provide a comfortable transfer back to your Nairobi area hotel or preferred drop-off location.
