From the rolling waves of Diani Beach to the vast wilds of Tsavo, this 3-day safari is your ultimate escape. In the comfort of a customized 4×4 pop-top Land Cruiser Jeep, complete with modern amenities like a fridge, binoculars, WiFi, and a professional multilingual guide, you’ll explore two of Kenya’s oldest and largest national parks.
Expect extraordinary encounters with Tsavo’s famous red elephants, big cats, buffalo, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and a vibrant array of birds—plus stunning views of painted plains, volcanic cones, and verdant natural springs.

Day 1: Diani – Tsavo East
Distance: Approx. 160 km – 3.5 hours

We’ll pick you up from your Diani or South Coast beach hotel and cross the Likoni Ferry into the interior, cruising along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway.
Arrive at Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest park, known for its vast red-earth plains and wildlife drama. Begin your first game drive focusing on areas like the Aruba Dam and Kanderi Swamp, where wildlife congregates for water.
Enjoy lunch and settle into your safari lodge or tented camp before heading out for an afternoon game drive. You’ll search for lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, and more.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West

Start your day with a sunrise game drive—watch as the savannah awakens with movement, color, and sound.
After breakfast, journey west to Tsavo West National Park, known for its scenic diversity—from volcanic hills to natural springs. Head to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, home to endangered black rhinos protected within a secure area.
Continue your game drives in the park before retiring to your lodge or tented camp nestled within the natural beauty of Tsavo West.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Mzima Springs – Diani
Distance: Approx. 280 km – 6 to 7 hours
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch
Begin with an early morning game drive to catch the predators and grazers in action during the cool dawn hours.
Later, visit Mzima Springs, a lush oasis fed by underground water from Chyulu Hills. Here, take a peaceful walking safari through the shaded greenery to view hippos, crocodiles, fish, and exotic bird species.
After this serene experience, enjoy lunch and then embark on your return journey to Diani Beach, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.

Day 01 :

Daily Itinerary

Diani – Tsavo East
Distance: 160 km | Approximate Driving Time: 3 to 3.5 hours

Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup from your Diani Beach location. We travel via the scenic Likoni Ferry crossing and then proceed along the historic “explorers’ route” — the Mombasa–Nairobi highway.
The journey of approximately 160 kilometers will take about three and a half hours, leading to the southern entrance of Tsavo East National Park. On arrival, we’ll pause briefly for refreshments (optional) before commencing your first game viewing drive.
Once inside the park, prepare to spot a spectacular variety of wildlife including majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, lions, elusive cheetahs, buffalo, and many more fascinating species.
In the afternoon, we’ll set out again for a relaxed game drive along the trails of the Big Five, all against the stunning backdrop of an African sunset.
After a full day of wildlife discovery, you’ll retire to your chosen Tsavo East safari lodge or tented camp for a comfortable overnight stay.

Rise early — we’ll be up before dawn to greet the day with an exhilarating game viewing drive. Experience the breathtaking African sunrise as it bathes the expansive Tsavo East savanna in golden light.
As the park awakens, we’ll traverse the plains in search of early grazers and stealthy hunters, witnessing the vibrant wildlife activity at this magical hour. A leisurely mid-morning game drive will follow, offering more opportunities to spot the diverse inhabitants of the park.
Later, we journey to the neighboring Tsavo West National Park. Here, among the stunning landscapes, we will visit the famous Rhino Sanctuary—a protected refuge for some of Kenya’s most endangered black rhinos.
After a day filled with discovery and adventure, relax and unwind at your chosen Tsavo West lodge or tented camp, nestled in the heart of this magnificent park.

Your final day of safari adventure begins early with a pre-breakfast game drive at sunrise. This is a magical time when nature is at its finest — predators on the prowl and grazers quietly feeding on the dew-kissed vegetation.

The scenic volcanic landscapes of Tsavo West, painted with natural hues, provide a breathtaking backdrop to your morning game viewing.

Later, we’ll head to the remarkable Mzima Springs, where the contrast of lush greenery and sparkling clear waters is a refreshing haven in this semi-arid environment. Here, you’ll take a peaceful nature walk to admire the underground springs and the diverse wildlife that thrives nearby.

Observe hippos lounging in the water, crocodiles basking on the banks, exotic fish swimming beneath the surface, and unique migratory birds that grace this sanctuary.
