An intimate and immersive retreat, The Singing Grass Bush Camp brings the natural beauty of the savannah, woodlands, and riverines of the Serengeti National Park together with classic glamor and luxury.
The main tented area and intimate guest tents are somewhat hidden among the trees, beige canvas walls, and green canvas roofing ensuring they blend in with the surroundings. Inside the main tent is a small sitting area and individual dining tables are set up and decorated in light colors, cream drapes lining the ceiling, promoting an air of freshness and tranquility. Guests can sit back and enjoy a book in the small library or enjoy a beverage of choice at the quaint bar.
Meals are created by talented chefs who incorporate international flavors and local flavors and guests can enjoy their meals indoors or out under the shade of an Acacia tree. Guests can watch these masters in action at a live cooking station, then later that night, gather around a crackling fire after dinner, recalling their favorite moments of their day on safari. There is a Junior Rangers Program for younger guests, who can take part in animal tracking and learn survival techniques in the bush.
The Singing Grass Bush Camp is located in the Seronera region of the central Serengeti National Park. The nearest airstrip is the Seronera Airstrip, an approximately one-hour flight from Arusha. The transfer from the Airstrip to the Camp is a journey of around 10 miles.
There are only five exquisite tents located at The Singing Grass Bush Camp is a truly intimate safari experience. With a focus on subtle luxuries and keeping an eye on blending in with the environment and being eco-friendly, they boast neutral colors with the beds set in front of an exquisite dark-wood headboard. Billowing sheets are stylishly draped across the ceiling, adding a touch of romance. There is a small sitting room, a table and chairs plus a luggage rack that finishes off the room’s decor. The beds are either king-size or two twin beds which are covered with a mosquito net. The en-suite bathrooms boast a vanity, toilet, and both an indoor and outdoor shower, plus bathroom amenities for guests to enjoy during their stay.
