Set upon a picturesque rocky foundation, the Seronera Wildlife Lodge is a wonderfully positioned, warm, and inviting African lodge located in the Seronera region of the famous Serengeti National Park. The main area boasts tall ceilings, lots of wood, and impressive lighting, with a spacious dining area where dark wood tables are set up with white tablecloths and classic crockery. Guests can choose to dine outside during the evenings or spend time around a crackling fire pit afterward.
The lounge area is set up with comfortable sofas with featured rocks seemingly holding up a thick-beamed ceiling, and rock-art images depicted on the white-faced rocks. There is a bar set up in the corner of the sitting area and another bar located in the pool area. The swimming pool is unique in design as it’s carved out of a mass of rock, wonderfully aesthetically appealing, and extremely refreshing. Guests can spend time on the viewing platform that offers a 360-degree view over the Serengeti plains. There is a small gift shop for guests to browse through
The Seronera Wildlife Lodge is located in the animal-rich Sereonera region of the Serengeti National Park, only a 20-minute drive from the Seronera Airstrip. A flight from Arusha Airport to Seronera Airstrip will take approximately one hour. Driving time from Arusha could take between five and six hours.
The 75 Lodge Rooms at Seronera Wildlife Lodge have been built in a two-story building, terraced and located around a courtyard. They are comfortable in size and contain a blend of dark wood and neutral colors, with large windows that open wide. There are tea/coffee-making facilities and a safe for guests to store valuables during their stay. Rooms can be configured into Double Rooms with a king-size bed or a Twin Room with two single beds. There is a Presidential Suite and a Junior Suite. All rooms are en-suite with a vanity, toilet, and shower.
