A top contender when it comes to luxury safari lodges in Tarangire National Park, the Sanctuary Swala Camp is a luxury camp that offers an exceptional safari escape on Tanzania Northern Circuit. The main area comprises a lounge area with comfortable seating and black and white African-patterned cushions, and an inviting bar, with the dining area comprising individual tables, with an outside dining option available to guests. The main deck has seating, light in color to blend in with the surrounding wilderness, the perfect place to sit and absorb the tranquil environment.
Guests have the services of a private butler during their stay and can enjoy time relaxing in the privacy of their tent. There is a swimming pool for guests to enjoy and for some time out, guests can sit in the small library on site. Gathering around a crackling bonfire in the evenings will give guests the chance to sit and discuss their day out, sharing stories and adventures. The Sanctuary Swala Camp is located in the Tarangire National Park, part of Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit. The Camp lies approximately 85 miles from Arusha, with flights that will take around 25 minutes. Guests are then transferred to the Camp, a drive of around 30 minutes.
There are 12 Luxury Canvas rooms with commanding views over a waterhole located nearby. Each tent has a ceiling fan, mosquito netting over the large king-size bed, and a small sitting area with a sofa. There is a safe for guests to store their valuables in during their stay. Guests have access to butler services during their time at Sanctuary Swala Camp. Each room is decorated in neutral tones with a wooden front door that compliments the beiges of the canvas ceiling, and headboards bold against the neutral colors of the tent. There are splashes of black and yellow to add elegance to the room’s decor, and on one side there is a small writing desk and chair. Rooms are 452 sq feet in size and all en-suite with a toilet, double vanity, and shower, with wonderful bathroom amenities for guests to use during their stay.
