Ole Serai Kogatende is a destination set along the Great Migration corridor in the northern (Kogatende) region of Tanzania. An understated luxury camping experience, the camp is set in a prime location along the Great Migration corridor, boasting large bodies of water nearby which invites animals to come down to drink.
There is a beautifully appointed dining tent set up on a large deck, with elegant seating inside and comfortable chairs set up outside. Evenings are enjoyed around a fireplace or gathered around the Maasai Boma for dinner and guests can then retire to their private rooms, all offering 180-degree views from their comfortable bed.
The Ole Serai Kogatende Camp is located a mere 10 minutes from the Kogatende airstrip in the Northern section of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Flights from Arusha to the airstrip will take approximately one hour while a drive is a journey of around 280 miles or seven hours.
There are 14 luxury tents appointed at Ole Serai Kogatende Camp. 10 Tented Suites have king-size beds and four Tented Suites have twin beds. The beds have a large, beautiful headboard and are made with crisp white linens. The bed is decorated with deep brown and black throws and cushions, complementing drawn-back curtains around the room. A neutral floor rug contrasts with the darker colors and wooden furniture in the suites. There is a writing desk and chair, a wardrobe, and en-suite bathrooms. The 10 suites with king-size beds have a bathtub and shower, while the 4 twin rooms have a shower only. There is a vanity and toilet plus luxury bathroom amenities for guests to use during their stay.
