Step inside the log cabin-style retreat that is the Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge. From the moment guests step inside the Lodge, they are met with a warm welcome by friendly staff and comforting architecture and decor.
There are decks with wooden railings contrasting the rolling green of the surrounding landscape, the theme is carried through to the beautiful suites. The large main area holds a relaxing lounge set up with comfortable seating, the Zebra bar has a terrace where guests can enjoy a drink of choice overlooking spectacular views.
Meals are served inside the cozy Acacia dining room, the stone walls and reeded roof adding a touch of classic African ambiance while you dine. Guests can choose to dine out on the main terrace, around a campfire, or in the comfort of their suite. There is a large, refreshing swimming pool and guests can enjoy a spa treatment of choice during their stay.
There is a small gift shop for guests to browse through, perhaps in search of that ideal souvenir. Guests can visit the Lodge’s vegetable garden and the Lodge offers babysitting services for younger guests. A luxury stay is enhanced with the services of an assigned butler, at your beck and call throughout your stay.
The Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge is located near the famous Ngorongoro crater, nestled in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Guests can fly from Arusha to the Lake Manyara Airstrip and then enjoy a one-hour drive to the Lodge. If traveling by road from Arusha, the drive will take approximately three hours.
There are 20 luxury Log Cabin Suites situated among the green slopes of the Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge. They are 1400 sq ft in size and offer a king-size canopy bed with mosquito netting and a good-sized sitting area set up with a sofa bed and comfortable chairs. Outside there is a wide verandah where guests can sit and enjoy the surrounding bush scene or perhaps enjoy a private dinner. Each room comes with a private butler who will be assigned to the room throughout a guest’s stay, on hand to assist with anything from wake-up calls to restocking the minibar. There is a writing desk and chair, a fan, a mini-bar, a tea/coffee-making station, and WiFi. There is a stylish fireplace in the sitting area and a space to hang clothing. All bathrooms are en-suite with a double vanity, toilet, and shower, plus bathroom amenities for guests to use during their stay.
