Maramboi Tented Lodge is situated along a migratory corridor for wildebeest and other animals, located between Tarangire National Park, offering both outstanding safari experiences as well as breathtaking views. Guests can see the Ol Doinyo volcano on a very clear day and game drives can take place in either Tarangire or Lake Manyara, offering an array of wildlife and wilderness wonders to discover.
The main Camp area comprises a comfortable sitting area, a bar, and a large dining room. Meals can be served inside the thatched-roof dining room, outside on the terrace, or even in the privacy of a guest’s tent. Guests can browse the gift shop or pop into the coffee shop on-site in between meals.
Spacious tents sit among incredible baobab or ‘upside down’ trees, and guests can choose to spend time relaxing in their tents or take time out to swim in the Camp’s inviting swimming pool with views over the surrounding wilderness. There is a poolside bar and for more pampering, guests can enjoy a relaxing massage during their stay.
Maramboi Tented Lodge is located above the Great Rift Valley escarpment, nestled between Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara. Guests can fly from Arusha to Tarangire National Park’s Kuro Airstrip which is a 20-minute flight. The transfer to the Camp will then take approximately 15 minutes. Guests who want to drive from Arusha will have a journey of between two and three hours.
There are 46 Luxury Tents, all with thatch roofs and set up on raised, wooden platforms and boasting a wonderful verandah with breathtaking views. The rooms can be configured as Standard Suites, Triple Suites and Family Suites, a king bed or twin bed in the Standard Suites, a king bed and single bed in the Triple Suites and the Family Suite has two interconnecting rooms. All beds are covered with a mosquito net. The decor is a mix of neutral tones with a splash of color in the pillows. There is a writing desk, a telephone, a sitting area, a place to hang clothes, and a fan in each suite. The Suites also have a tea/coffee-making station and WiFi, with guests having access to room service during their stay. All bathrooms are en-suite with a toilet, vanity, and a shower plus there are bathroom amenities for guests to use during their stay.
