Acacia Tarangire luxury camp lies in the center of the picturesque Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s primary National Parks on its Northern Safari Circuit. The surrounding landscape is vast and breathtaking, dotted with baobab and acacia trees, amid grasslands and rolling rivers. Sunsets are simply spectacular from this Camp and guests have the option of enjoying bush walks and game drives with incredible wildlife to discover.
The main tented area features billowing canvas ceilings boasting a beautiful central hanging light fixture, with African-inspired rugs laid out on the canvas flooring. Comfortable seating is presented and in the corner, a charming bar. Delicious meals are served buffet-style either in an elegant dining tent that has large, comfortable chairs, or outside under the stars. Bush dinners and picnics can be organized for guests. A captivating and crackling campfire is lit at night, the perfect spot for guests to gather and discuss their day on safari.
Acacia Tarangire Luxury Camp is located in central Tarangire National Park, a 20-minute drive from the Kuro Airstrip away. From Arusha, the flight to Kuro Airstrip will take approximately 20 minutes with guests experiencing a two-and-a-half-hour drive if they choose to reach the Camp by road.
12 Deluxe Safari Tents plus one Family Tented Suite are found at the Acacia Tarangire Luxury Camp, all offering incredible views over the Tarangire National Park. The tents all have billowing canvas ceilings and beds set up as double or twin, with delicate mosquito netting flowing down over the solid wood four-poster beds. The floors are dark wood with African-themed rugs set down in front of a generous sitting area. There is a writing desk and chair, a safe for guests to store their valuables, and a space for guests to hang clothes, in each tent. Guests are provided with a poncho and room service is offered for delivery of early morning tea or coffee. The verandah has a couple of chairs for guests to relax on and inside, each tent is en-suite with an exquisite bathroom. There is a toilet, vanity, shower, and beautiful bath, some with a spa bath. A great selection of bathroom amenities is provided for guests to use during their stay.
