From your beach resort, you’ll take a quick flight over Kenya’s scenic landscape to Africa’s premier game park. Natural World Safaris manages all arrangements to get you from surf to safari in a quick and easy two-hour trip.

Along your flight route, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the Great Rift Valley and towering Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world. Soon after, you’ll land in the Masai Mara where a representative from Natural World Safaris will be waiting.

Your next three days will be spent exploring the Mara’s broad grasslands and iconic acacia-dotted plains from the comfort of a private pop-up top 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep. The Mara offers an unforgettable landscape, comfortably cool for game viewing.

The wildlife here is spectacular. You’ll be searching for the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — as well as thousands of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle sweeping the savannah during the Great Migration from July to September. The immense movement of animals is electrifying and unforgettable.

One highlight will be the Mara River, where migrating animals cross. Hippos and crocodiles lurk here, while hyenas, jackals, and small foxes roam nearby. This dynamic setting offers dramatic wildlife moments as nature’s forces collide.

Day 01 :

Daily Itinerary

DEPART FROM DIANI AIRPORT – MASAI MARA

An early morning pickup from your beach resort will mark the start of your thrilling safari adventure as we transfer you to Diani Airport.

Your chartered flight will take off between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. for an approximately two-hour scenic journey. From your vantage point in the sky, enjoy breathtaking views of majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro and the vast Kenyan landscape unfolding beneath you.

You’ll arrive in the Masai Mara at around 10:30 a.m., where you will be warmly welcomed by your Natural World Guide. From there, step into your private, open-top 4 x 4 safari Jeep and begin your exciting journey into the heart of one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves.

In your open-top, 4 x 4 Jeep you’ll enjoy your first introductory game drive from the airstrip to your safari lodge or tented camp where you’ll settle in and refresh.

Lunch will follow as you get ready for the spectacular Mara experience.

This region is one of the world’s richest ecosystems, known for its dense animal populations and colorful diversity. Great numbers of predators stalk these golden plains and hills – look for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and smaller carnivores as well.

On your first big game drive, your Guide will be tracking these and dozens of other species as you rumble over the park’s striking landscape.

During your three-day Mara adventure, your game-viewing schedule is your own. Discuss with your Guide how long and at what frequency you would like to schedule your game drives.

Note: For those guests staying at conservancies who wish to travel to the Mara triangle area to view the Great Migration river crossings, there is an $80 per person surcharge.

In the Evening
You’ll enjoy a delightful dinner surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the wilderness, then unwind and spend your first night in the comfort of your chosen safari lodge or tented camp—your home in the wild Masai Mara.

Day 02 :

AT THE MASAI MARA

Awaken to the golden glow of the Mara as the savannah stirs with life. Set out early for your first game drive of the day, with the flexibility to enjoy as many excursions as you wish.

Keep your eyes peeled for Africa’s famed Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as your guide expertly navigates the open plains and signature acacia-dotted landscape.

If you’re visiting during the Great Migration (July–October), you’ll witness one of nature’s most awe-inspiring spectacles: waves of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle pouring into the reserve from the Serengeti, creating an unforgettable wildlife scene.

Enhance your safari with an optional visit to a traditional Maasai village. Engage with this proud community and gain insight into their enduring customs and lifestyle.

For a breathtaking perspective, consider an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride. Drift silently above the Mara, watching the land awaken in soft light—an experience that truly captures the spirit of the wild.

After an exhilarating day of safari adventures, return to your lodge or tented camp to relax, unwind, and enjoy a peaceful night under the stars of the Mara.

Day 03 :

After breakfast and a rewarding final game drive, we’ll make our way to the airstrip for your return flight. Departing at 14:00 hrs (2:00 pm), your scenic flight will bring you back to Diani by 16:30 hrs (4:30 pm), where a Natural World Kenya Safaris representative will be waiting to transfer you to your beach resort.

A final scenic drive to the airstrip completes your unforgettable Mara adventure. Your return flight departs at 14:00 hrs (2:00 pm), and by 16:30 hrs (4:30 pm), you’ll be back on the Kenya coast. Upon arrival, a Natural World Kenya Safaris representative will transfer you to your beach hotel.
