Day 01 :

Daily Itinerary

Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve (Appx: 265kms – 5 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

05:00 hrs: Your driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi area hotel, Nairobi airport, or Nairobi area residence, and we’ll head out in our 4x4 safari jeep for the world-renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve.

We’ll break up our drive with a stop at the town of Narok for breakfast, and anticipate arriving at the Mara around mid-morning. We've arrived at perhaps the most well-known wildlife park in the world, home to an incredible diversity and concentration of wild animals. All the Big Five are here, with a special emphasis on the magnificent cats such as lion, leopard, and cheetah.

We’ll fill our day with exhilarating game drives across the expansive savannah, actively looking for the big game plus fascinating creatures like warthog, hyena, zebra, and many more hunters and grazers.

There will be a delightful picnic lunch to break up the day, with time to relax should you desire.

We’ll spend the first of two nights at the Masai Mara, at the safari lodge or tented camp of your choice.

Day 02 :

Full Day – Masai Mara Game Reserve: Unlimited Wildlife Encounters

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We’ll be up early to enjoy the awakening day and the chorus of birdsong on the great reserve. Today is a day of unlimited game drives, so get ready to check off many animals on your "to see" list!

The Masai Mara features the greatest density of wildlife in this region of Africa, and you’re right in the middle of the action.

Should your visit coincide with the Great Migration (July – October), you’ll be witness to the incredible sight of thousands of gazelle, zebra, and wildebeest streaming over the Mara River in search of sustenance.

We’ll visit the Mara River and enjoy a picnic lunch, observing the hippos, crocodiles, and other dramatic wildlife action playing out before us.

Optional Activities:

If you wish, you can take an optional visit to the local Maasai people in their village. You’ll learn about their customs, traditional herding lifestyle, and perhaps pick up some of their beautiful beaded handiwork.
Another incredible optional treat is an early morning hot air balloon safari over the Masai Mara! Watch the park come alive from a unique perspective and witness the animals parade in their timeless movements – an unforgettable vision. Just ask your driver/guide for details; they’ll be happy to make all the arrangements.

Our final night at the Masai Mara will be at the safari lodge or tented camp of your choice.

Day 03 :

Masai Mara to Amboseli National Park (520 km – Approx. 9 Hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We’ll be up before the birds for an early morning departure from the Masai Mara, heading towards Amboseli National Park.

Traveling past picturesque fields and farmlands, we’ll make stops along the way to appreciate Kenya’s diverse natural scenery. We’ll also take a well-deserved lunch break to stretch and relax during our journey.

Arriving at Amboseli Park in the afternoon, there will be time for an introductory game drive to get acquainted with the reserve's unique charm.

At the park’s southern boundary stands the towering form of Mount Kilimanjaro, a constant and majestic presence overlooking the rich variety of wildlife in this incredibly vibrant, though smaller, park.

Toward evening, the mountain’s often cloud-obscured, snow-capped peak may be revealed as the high-altitude cloud cover burns off, leaving us with a perfect vista of one of Africa’s most inspirational and photographed sites.

We’ll spend the first of two nights at Amboseli, at your choice of safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 04 :

Full Day Amboseli National Park: Elephants & Kilimanjaro Views

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today will be filled with thrilling game drives and relaxing downtime. Simply tell your driver/guide how much of each you’d like to enjoy!

We’ll be up early for a spectacular pre-breakfast safari through the park, as the majestic elephant families march to their favorite watering holes.

After our morning safari, we’ll travel by jeep to our favorite watering hole – our lodge or tented camp – for a hearty, delicious safari breakfast. Then, we’ll fill out the morning with another relaxed game drive.

The foliage at Amboseli is relatively sparse, which makes for easier and more rewarding game spotting.

We’ll enjoy an easy lunch and then plan our afternoon. Your driver/guide is an expert and can discuss the different regions of the park to explore, such as its vibrant marshes, tranquil lakes, or serene woodlands.

Toward evening, look forward to another wonderful African sunset, and perhaps the clear, snowy summit of Mount Kilimanjaro will reveal itself. Have your camera ready – these are postcard-perfect moments!

We’ll spend our second night at Amboseli, at your safari lodge or tented camp, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay.

Day 05 :

Amboseli – Nairobi: Safari Finale & Departure

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch

It’s our last safari morning, but we’ve got plans to pack in as much as possible! We’ll start with a thrilling pre-breakfast game drive, seeing who else we can check off our wildlife list.

Breakfast follows, surrounded by all the beauty of nature. Then, we’ll embark on another mid-morning drive through the park, allowing time to visit any spots you may have missed or revisit your favorite areas.

After our final game drive in Amboseli, we’re off to Nairobi, with a stop for lunch on the way.

We should arrive in Nairobi at about 16:30 hrs (4:30 PM). We’ll comfortably bring you to your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO).
