Day 01 :

Daily Itinerary

Nairobi – Tsavo East National Park Safari: (320 km: 5 Hrs drive)

At 06:00 hrs, your driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Nairobi airport.

We’ll set off in our 4x4 Jeep for Tsavo East National Park, traveling along the historic Nairobi-Mombasa Highway, also known as the early explorer’s route.

Upon arrival at Tsavo’s gate, prepare to be amazed by the immense sweep of the park's great expanse stretching before you. After a brief break, we'll start our first exciting game drive in our 4x4.

This is classic big savannah country, and we'll be on the lookout for the lions and the magnificent elephants that roam these distinctive red-dust plains. The refreshing watering holes scattered throughout the arid landscape naturally attract the reserve’s diverse inhabitants.

We may visit Aruba Dam and Mudanda Rock, excellent locations to observe elephants and other creatures as they gather for sustenance at these vital watering spots.

We’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing our afternoon game drives in the 4x4. Throughout your safari, your knowledgeable driver/guide will be your expert advisor, sharing insights into the incredible wildlife and wondrous natural scenes unfolding before you.

Day 02 :

TSAVO EAST – TSAVO WEST (60 kms – Approx. 1 hr)

On this exciting day, we rise with the birds, embarking on an early morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park before the sun fully emerges. This special atmosphere affords exquisite views of the park awakening in the soft dawning light, providing a unique opportunity to observe animals as they begin their new day.

Following the exhilarating drive, a delicious breakfast awaits at your lodge or tented camp. Afterward, we’ll set out on another game drive, seeking out buffalo, impala, eland, and some of the park's impressive 500 species of birds.

Soon, it will be time to journey to the other part of this incredible ecosystem: Tsavo West National Park. The short drive between the parks offers continuous opportunities for more exciting wildlife sightings.

Upon entering Tsavo West, you’ll immediately notice its distinct look and feel – richer colors, denser foliage, and surprising green oases like the famous Mzima Springs. The crystal-clear waters feeding this serene haven, bordered by palm-shrouded banks, create the sensation of a lush paradise. Here, we’ll look for hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish, and a variety of migratory birdlife.

Tsavo West is also home to the vital Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, actively protecting at least 80 of these magnificent and endangered animals. We’ll drive through the sanctuary, hoping to spot some of these elusive creatures.

Your final safari night will be spent in Tsavo West, at your chosen accommodation.

Day 03 :

Tsavo West National Park – Nairobi: (320 km: 5 Hrs. drive)

Another exciting early morning awaits safari-goers! We’ll kick off the day with a thrilling game drive, aiming to add even more incredible animal sightings to your list.

A delicious safari breakfast follows, preparing us for one more bonus game drive across the striking plains of Tsavo West. Keep your eyes peeled for delightful bushbabies, graceful hartebeest, impalas, and the lively monkeys scampering through the park’s many acacia trees.

After these final captivating moments in the wilderness, it’s time to exit the park and begin our scenic journey back to Nairobi.

We anticipate returning you to your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in the late afternoon, approximately 17:30 hrs (5:30 PM).
