The dining and lounge area boasts a cave-side setting with a small bar offering refreshments throughout the day. Nimali Mara is located in the northern region of the Serengeti National Park, close to the Bitengi Village. Guests can fly into the Kogatende Airstrip from Arusha Airport which will take around one hour with the drive to the lodge taking 45 minutes. If guests prefer to drive, the journey from Arusha is approximately 240 miles, taking around seven hours.
There are 10 stunning tented lodges, with glass sliding tours that lead out to private verandahs for guests choosing to stay at Nimali Mara. There are eight Standard Suites with king-size beds and two Family or Honeymoon tented suites which comprise two bedrooms both en-suite and a shared lounge area. A plunge pool completes this truly private escape. There is a wardrobe, bar fridge, sitting and small eating area with a writing desk and chair. The beds are covered with fresh white linens and neutral throws and pillows. The bathrooms are all en-suite and include a double vanity, toilet, shower, and bathtub, with local bathroom amenities for guests to use during their stay.
