There is a large dining tent with comfortable chairs scattered around the main camp area
Guests can enjoy sundowner drinks on a nearby lookout or elevated rock, then return to the campsite where chairs are arranged around a firepit, the bonfire crackling in time to the night sounds once the sun sets.
Serengeti Under Canvas is located in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Guests can take a one-hour flight from Arusha to the Grumeti Airstrip followed by a 45-minute flight to their campsite.
Eight elegant luxury Standard Tented Suites plus one Family Tented suite stand privately set apart on the campsite. Each suite is decorated with open-sided netting, tall, billowing canvas ceilings, and carpets set on the canvas floors. There is a king-size bed with an extra bedroom attached to the main sleeping area, in the family tent. There is a wardrobe, a comfortable daybed, and a small sitting area, with a writing desk and chair lit from above by the hanging, luxury lights. There is an in-room safe, hairdryer, and a mini-bar in each suite. Each tented suite is en-suite with a bath and double vanity with a secluded outdoor shower. Modern bathroom amenities are supplied for guests to enjoy during their stay.
