The Acacia Seronera Luxury Camp presents subtle luxury in the iconic Seronera region of the Serengeti National Park, a tented escape in true Tanzanian wilderness. Ideally located for guests to have a chance to witness the ‘Great Migration’. The Camp is set up so that guests have views over the sprawling savannah from the main areas and private tents.
The main tented area holds space for a comfortable sitting area and a small bar, with dining tables set up inside, as well as outside. There is a large deck that wraps around the front of the main Tent, with a little sunken extension to the deck where guests can sit and watch wildlife roam in the distance.
Guests can enjoy pampering when indulging in a spa treatment, with resident wellness therapists on hand with a menu of treatments on offer. There is a small gift shop for guests to wander through, a chance to find that perfect souvenir. For something slightly different, guests have a chance to visit the Artist in Residence and marvel at their wildlife and landscape creations, with a chance to have your family portrait painted during your stay.
Guests can fly from Arusha into the Seronera Airstrip, a flight taking approximately one hour. Guests will then enjoy a safari-style transfer through the Serengeti, to get to Acacia Seronera Luxury Camp. This will take around one hour, with a chance to game view along the way. Guests preferring to drive from Arusha will have a journey of between five and six hours.
There are 17 large Safari Tents privately located on the property, all offering captivating views over the surrounding savanna and all boasting a stylish wrap-around deck. Two of these tents can be used for families. Inside guests will appreciate the African-inspired furniture and decor, a beautiful four-poster bed standing in the middle of the room, mosquito netting draped over the top. There is a wonderful sitting area with comfortable chairs, as well as a desk and chair and a water station. The bathrooms are en-suite and boast a bath and shower as well as a vanity and toilet. Bathroom amenities are available for guests to use during their stay.
