Gibbs Farm is located near the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania’s Karatu district. It lies a 30-minute drive from Lake Manyara National Park and around two hours from the Ngorongoro Crater. Guests can choose to fly from Arusha Airport to Lake Manyara Airstrip, a flight taking 25 minutes, or take a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Arusha.
17 beautiful, one-bedroom Luxury Cottages that can be configured into a king, queen, or twin room, plus two two-bedroomed farmhouses can be found at Gibbs Farm. The Cottages all have a verandah offering sweeping views over the valley with mosquito netting over the beds, a desk and chair, a small sitting area, and a safe for guests to store their valuables during their stay. The Cottages have wooden floors, stone walls, wooden furniture, and soft and neutral colors on the bedding, the floor rug, and art on the wall. There is a fireplace in the cottages, a tea/coffee-making station, and access to room service and WiFi. The Farmhouses comprise a master bedroom with a king bed and a second bedroom that has two queen beds, both en-suite with a toilet, vanity, bath, and shower, plus an outdoor shower for something a little different. The two rooms are separated by a lounge area and guests staying in the Farmhouses have access to a personal butler throughout their stay.
