Your Uganda’s Safari Starts Here

Uganda’s Wild Frontier

Tucked away in northeastern Uganda near the borders of South Sudan and Kenya, Kidepo Valley National Park is one of Africa’s most remote and breathtaking safari destinations. Its vast semi-arid savannah, framed by dramatic mountains like Mount Morungole, is home to rare wildlife found nowhere else in Uganda—cheetahs, bat-eared foxes, caracals, aardwolves, and over 75 mammal species including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, zebras, and Nile crocodiles.

Bird lovers will enjoy spotting 470+ species, from ostriches to little bee-eaters. The park’s iconic landscape features Borassus palms, sausage trees, and red thorn acacia, with wildlife often seen right from your lodge. Kidepo also offers rich cultural encounters with the Karamojong—a pastoral tribe similar to the Maasai—and the Ik people, a small, endangered community living on the slopes of Mount Morungole.
