Your Safari Adventure Begins Early
05:00 hrs – Pick-up
Your professional Natural World Kenya Safaris driver/guide will meet you at your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Hop into your customized 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser Jeep and set off on your unforgettable journey to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.
As you depart Nairobi, enjoy the serene beauty of the Great Rift Valley unfolding with the rising sun. We’ll stop for breakfast in Narok, the last major town before entering the Mara region.

Scenic Drive & Cultural Encounters
En route, take in views of traditional Maasai homesteads and catch glimpses of local pastoral life as Maasai herdsmen tend to their cattle in the open plains, clad in their vibrant shukas (wraps).
We aim to arrive at Masai Mara by approximately 10:30 hrs, giving you ample time to immerse yourself in your first game viewing experience.

Unlimited Game Drives in the Masai Mara
Once inside the reserve, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your pace.
Embark on unlimited game drives, guided by your expert driver.
Spot the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant – along with giraffes, zebras, gazelles, hyenas, and over 95 mammal species.
July–September is migration season — a time when millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains in one of the world’s most dramatic wildlife spectacles.
We’ll break for a picnic lunch at the Mara River, the famed site of the Great Migration crossing. Keep an eye out for crocodiles lurking beneath the surface, and big cats waiting in the tall grasses nearby.

Overnight in the Masai Mara
After a full day in the wild, unwind at your preferred choice of safari lodge or tented camp, surrounded by the sounds of the African savannah.

Sunrise Safari & Final Game Drive
We’ll rise early to make the most of our last morning in Masai Mara. This final game drive offers a golden opportunity to spot more wildlife – perhaps a lion on the hunt, a cheetah in the open plains, or a family of elephants at the watering hole.
Keep your eyes open for Africa’s Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino – as we explore the park one last time.

Breakfast & Checkout
After the early morning drive, return to your camp or lodge for a hearty breakfast.
Your dedicated Natural World Kenya Safaris driver-guide will assist with the check-out process and ensure you're comfortably set for your journey back to Nairobi.

Return to Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley
We’ll exit the park with a final en-route game drive, making the most of the wilderness.
As we travel back to Nairobi, enjoy scenic stops along the Great Rift Valley escarpments – perfect for photos and refreshing breaks.
You’ll arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on traffic and weather conditions.

Drop-off & Farewell
Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey or flight home.
This marks the end of your short but immersive 2-day Masai Mara safari.
