Start your safari adventure with an early pick-up from your Diani Beach area resort. You’ll be transferred to Mombasa, crossing the iconic Likoni ferry, then continue inland along the scenic Mombasa–Nairobi highway toward Tsavo East National Park.
Upon arrival at the southern entry gate of Tsavo East, take a brief refreshment break before setting out on your first game viewing drive. Your experienced safari driver/guide will lead you through the park’s rugged landscape, helping you spot majestic elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, dik-dik gazelles, and many more fascinating species.
After a mid-day rest to freshen up and relax, prepare for an afternoon game drive when the wildlife becomes more active in the cooler hours. Traverse the stunning Tsavo East savannah as your guide points out wildlife and shares insights about the park’s unique ecosystem.

From there, journey towards the scenic Great Rift Valley, making a lunch stop in Nairobi to refresh and refuel.

Continue on to Lake Naivasha, a stunning freshwater lake surrounded by vibrant wildlife and lush vegetation. In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing boat ride to explore the lake and spot hippos, water birds, and giraffes grazing along the shore.

Full Day – Masai Mara

Prepare for a thrilling day of unlimited game viewing in one of the most spectacular wildlife ecosystems on the planet.

The Masai Mara Game Reserve boasts the highest and most diverse concentration of wild animals in the region. Its stunning tree-studded savannah plains, moderate climate, and incredible variety of wildlife make it the ultimate destination for safari enthusiasts.

Today, we will explore the vast Masai Mara, seeking out the iconic Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — alongside numerous other fascinating species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by the Mara River, where you can watch hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. During the great migration season (July to October), you might even witness the breathtaking crossing of thousands of wildebeest and zebras.

Masai Mara – Nairobi (260 km, Approx. 6 hrs)

Start your day with an early pre-breakfast game drive to catch a final glimpse of the wildlife in the Masai Mara.

After breakfast, depart the reserve with an exit game viewing drive, soaking in the last moments of the wilderness.

Continue the journey to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.

You will then be transferred to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.

Flight details:

• Depart Nairobi at 18:30 hrs for Mombasa
• Arrive Mombasa airport at 19:30 hrs

Upon arrival in Mombasa, you will be met and transferred back to your resort in the Diani Beach area.

Alternatively, you may opt to take the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) for the Nairobi–Mombasa return journey, offering a scenic and comfortable travel experience.
