Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Diani Beach hotel or location. We’ll head north via the Likoni Ferry, crossing into Mombasa before joining the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway for a scenic drive inland.

The 270 km journey takes approximately 5 hours, with planned stops along the way for refreshments and comfort breaks.

Upon arrival at Tsavo West National Park, your game viewing experience begins immediately as you enter the park’s wild, rugged terrain. In the afternoon, visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, home to the highly endangered black rhino. This protected reserve offers a rare chance to see one of Africa’s most elusive species in its natural habitat.

You’ll continue with more game drives en route to your safari lodge or tented camp, where you’ll check in for dinner and an overnight stay.

The day begins with an early morning game drive as the savannah awakens under the golden hues of sunrise. This is prime time for spotting predators on the hunt and herbivores grazing in the cool morning air.

Our morning exploration includes a visit to Mzima Springs, a pristine oasis fed by underground streams from the Chyulu Hills. Here, we’ll take a guided nature walk to view hippos, crocodiles, and an array of exotic fish in the crystal-clear waters. Bird lovers will also enjoy the many resident and migratory species found in this lush habitat.

After the visit, we journey south via scenic gravel tracks to Amboseli National Park — a drive of approximately 2.5 hours.

Upon arrival, you’ll check in to your safari lodge or tented camp and enjoy a leisurely lunch. The early afternoon is yours to relax and absorb the serene surroundings.

Later, we head out for a comprehensive game drive in Amboseli. This park’s open plains and sparse vegetation make for excellent visibility, enhancing your chances of spotting a wide range of wildlife.

Towering in the background is Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. If the skies are clear, the mountain’s snow-capped summit will shine brilliantly in the afternoon sun—a perfect moment for photography and an unforgettable African memory.

Look out for:
Large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, dik-diks, kudu, mongoose, hyrax, and numerous bird species.

Amboseli – Tsavo East National Park

We begin the day with the peaceful dawn light over Amboseli, offering another opportunity for wildlife viewing and—weather permitting—stunning vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro bathed in the morning sun.

After breakfast, we enjoy a final game drive as we exit the park, taking in any last glimpses of Amboseli’s rich wildlife.

Our journey continues east as we rejoin the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway, heading toward Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s oldest and largest wildlife reserve.

We’ll arrive in time for a late afternoon game drive, entering the park’s immense savannah dotted with acacia and baobab trees. Tsavo East offers an entirely different safari atmosphere—vast, open and raw. Game drives here are relaxed and immersive, inviting you to slow down, observe, and feel deeply connected to the natural world.

Your experienced driver/guide will interpret the landscape, track wildlife, and share fascinating insights into animal behavior and park ecology.

You’ll spend the evening at your chosen Tsavo East safari lodge or tented camp, surrounded by the magic of the African wilderness.

As the African sun begins to rise over the savannah, we embark on our final early morning game drive—a chance to soak in the raw beauty of Tsavo East’s vast landscapes one last time.

With the soft morning light bathing the terrain, we’ll move at a relaxed pace, allowing ample time to appreciate wildlife encounters and perhaps catch a final glimpse of the “Red Elephants of Tsavo”, predators on the prowl, or grazing antelope.

Midday, we pause for lunch at a scenic open-air restaurant, offering sweeping views across the endless plains—a perfect setting to reflect on your safari adventure.

After lunch, we begin our comfortable drive back to the Kenya Coast, descending from the highlands into the warm breeze of the Indian Ocean.

Arrival in Diani Beach is expected by late afternoon or early evening, followed by drop-off at your hotel or preferred location.
