DIANI – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

Your safari adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your beach resort in Diani, Tiwi, Galu, or Msambweni.
We’ll travel north through Mombasa, crossing the Likoni Ferry, and then join the Mombasa–Nairobi highway. The drive offers you a scenic window into Kenyan life – past rural villages, palm-lined roads, and open countryside.
After approximately 2.5 hours, we’ll arrive at Tsavo East National Park – one of Kenya’s largest and most historic wildlife sanctuaries.

Let the Safari Begin
As we enter through one of the park’s main gates, you’ll begin your first game drive across the vast red-soiled plains of Tsavo. Your guide will be tracking for:
Dust-red elephants – iconic to Tsavo
Buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and various antelopes
Big cats like lions and cheetahs, especially active in the late afternoon
Crocodiles and hippos near water points
Rare species such as the Lesser Kudu and Gerenuk
We’ll enjoy a picnic or lodge lunch followed by more exploration on a mid-afternoon game drive, when the heat lessens and wildlife becomes more active.

Evening at the Lodge or Camp
As the sun sets, we’ll arrive at your safari lodge or tented camp, where you’ll unwind, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and relax in the heart of the African wilderness.

Lions and cheetahs
Rhinos (more elusive)

Giraffes, zebras, buffaloes

TSAVO EAST – DIANI BEACH

Rise early with the sounds of the wild echoing through the bush. This morning, you’ll set out on a dawn game drive, one of the most magical moments of any African safari. The sunrise over Tsavo paints the sky in fiery hues while the park slowly stirs to life. Predators are still active, and you may catch a glimpse of lions returning from a hunt or elephants gathering at watering holes.
After this exciting early adventure, we’ll return to your lodge or camp for a hearty safari breakfast and a chance to refresh before check-out.

Final Moments in the Wild
We’re not done just yet – as we exit the park, we’ll continue with a mid-morning game drive, exploring new tracks and covering more ground in search of wildlife and scenic vistas.
By midday, we’ll stop for lunch at a rustic open-plan restaurant, offering sweeping views across the park's open plains – a final moment to soak in the vastness and beauty of Tsavo.

Return to the Coast
After lunch, we begin our scenic drive back to the Kenya coast, traveling through local villages and lush landscapes. Expect to arrive at your Diani Beach resort in the late afternoon, where your safari ends with drop-off at your accommodation.
